Hi, I’m Penar Musaraj and this is my site. You can get here via: curiousfish.org and penarmusaraj.com.
Here is where I collect things that interest me: writings, tunes, links and twitters. I’m interested in various things that can be treated as tags: web design, usability, music, art, urban life, relationships, individuality, politics, photography, geekery, social networks, innovation, books, et al. The goal of the site is to force me to pay more attention to some of these interests and find ways to write about them often.
Programmers say that when you comment code you should comment it for yourself in 6 months from now. My goal here is similar: to write notes for my future self. So, even though aware of the possibility of an audience, I will primarily write with myself in mind.
A side goal of this site however will be to take control of the my Google identity. We’ll see how that will work out.
Who Are You, Again?
Ok, so here’s a quick list of things you might wanna know about me (or, rather, things I wouldn’t mind you knowing about me):
- I have a B.A. in Anthropology and Political Studies from Trent University in Peterborough, ON, Canada
- I’m currently a partner at a small web design firm called CMS Lounge (see below for information on hiring us)
- I’m Albanian and along with a few other expats, I run the vibrant Albanian blog: peshkupauje.com (which translates as “fish outside water”)
- I listen to a lot of music, which I track through the lovely last.fm
Endnote
Curious Fish had a short life as a co-authored blog by myself and Shireen Seno back in late 2005-early 2006. Shireen moved to Tokyo in May 2006.
